The aging process-----slows us down or do we fight it tooth and nail? I guess we could use the aging process as an excuse to throw in the towel---except there is one thing sure and true that we can do to slow down the aging process, to build our energy, to keep us mobile longer--
You guessed it yet?
EXERCISE--no matter what size, shape, age, ability- moving your body helps put a dent in the aging process--it is never too late---to reap those anti-aging benefits---walking, swimming, biking, mowing the lawn (not on a riding mower-LOL) five minutes, 10 or 20 or more---
Health benefits come from accumulating 30 minutes of activity most every day--fat loss benefits come from accumulating 50-60 minutes of activity most every day. Strive for balance- a happy medium in between and listen to your body--if something starts to hurt--don't do it-- that's my golden rule!
Get out of your box, mix up your exercise, try something new-before you know it-- you will have a handle on the aging process--and enhance your quality of life too! Off for my bike ride--cheers--Dee
