Part 2 --Toronto Trip 2005 "soda & da straw"

This part is definitely dedicated to the Michigan gang where Dawn B. showed me the coolest way to keep a straw in a soda can-- and of course the longer we were in the car traveling to Toronto the more bored we all got-- so I turned on my travel pals to the old straw in the soda can --just pop the lid and keep the tab over the open hole-- slide straw in and the tab keeps it in place--go figure -call us bored, sick of being in the car, wishing we'd see a moose or two?

When we got across the bridge to Canada we stopped for the picture under to Ontario sign--see corkboard for great shors of this----with all the paranoia we thought for sure it would be more than 20 questions to get into Canada and yet they did not even ask for our I.D.'s. After a few snap shots and exchanging of money we were off for the rest of the journey! I almost forgot--I failed to stop at stop sign at the border and just drove right up behind car in line oops! that did not start this part off too well--we all looked so much like first time tourist's the border patrol just knew were were no threat. I especially like the question did we have more than $8,000 dollars on us in US currency(Oh I wish) I wanted to ask why $8,000-was that a magic number or did we get a penalty if we had that much? Then I realized less is more and let's just get through and get going. Wait till you here about getting there at 10 pm---and the rest of the story! Aleigha kept freaking out at the speed limits and mileage signs. Fran and I kept reminding her it kilometers per hour, not miles per hour. The temperature was even harder to process--it's Celsius silly girls not Fahrenheit!

...and what about those red & white maple leaf flags--all over the place and the crowns on the Hwy. signs--oh yeah--we were in a different country...... daaaa

Part 3 "ln love with the hotel front desk attendant"
a.k.a. trying to hook Aleigha up!!
stay tuned...............
